Indeed I did learn a lesson.. all of my iPhones will be in cases from now on.

I've been fortunate. I've never used a case for my iPhone's ever. The only time I ever use a case, is when I work on duty. Otherwise, I handle them by themselves and have never dropped or knocked off anything. But I treat my iPhones with the up most respect and I never set it down on a hard surface. Scratch free till this day With all my iPhones. At Least for now.

I understand why you would use cases. Others don't. To each their own.

Always been a case guy. Mounted my SE in an Evutec SP case the minute I took it out. Sweaty hands resulted in a drop from around chest height (I'm 5'5); just a few scuffs on the case itself, that's all.
