I would imagine the idea would be: Purchase your allotment of data: $30/2GB, etc. Each tablet would be $10/monthly to tap into that data. Maybe someone who knows for sure could confirm that, though.

You can add as many tablets as you'd like, but they each share the same data allotment.

Nope unfortunately However, Verizon has hotspot so if the devices will be used near each other, you can just hotspot one of the devices to the other

Share as in simultaneous? With both iPads having an active connection at the same time? Or share as in signing into one account at different times, on two iPads? The latter is possible with AT&T.
