I own a Sharp Quattron HDTV, which I really like. For those unfamiliar that's the set that has the extra yellow pixel. I really like the picture, and my question about these sharp displays is if they will have the added yellow pixel.

Which philips did you buy? Because from what I gather philips uses Sharp's LCD panels for their high end tv's.

No idea which one I bought. That was a few years ago and it was just a 20" I bought from Walmart that I kept for a week before deciding the picture was absolutely crappy (we had just moved in the house and they left us a cheap little tv that looked better than the Phillips I just bought).

I doubt it was a high end one cause I was going for cheap and flat screen and not a silver border at the least (at the time the fad was for silver electronics but happily the fad was going away but you still had to look to get at least a black border to the screen).

Any news on iPhone 7?

Not ready to give up on iPhones, although I'm not the least bit impressed with the obscene obsession towards making them paper thin, I'll enjoy the various new Androids I have.

Then I'll sit back and watch Apple futz with theirs. For their own good I hope they get back on track by #7.

I want them to get away from integrating the LCD into the glass. As someone who's front glass cracked but the LCD and digitizer still work perfect, it sucks to have to pay so much just to replace the glass front.

They better use Gorilla Glass in the next revision.

I am sure you will like the dust under the glass at that time.
