My iPhone got shattered on the highway the front and back are completely shattered and you can’t use the screen but I was able to call it so I’m assuming it still works it’s an iPhone 8, all my babies photos from birth are on there I am SO upset I need to get these photos back!!! Since I have a passcode when I connect to the computer I have to allow access but cannot because of the screen. Please can someone help me? Should I pay to replace the screen? How to I know that will even work I’m just assuming it still works Icanclick the home button and when it’s dead you can’t click it so it has power but it diea quickly I just keep charging it.

take it to a repair shop & see what they say. Then consider whether the risk of paying for a repair that may not work is worth the chance. It's a gamble. No guarantee you'll get access back into the phone

Okay thank you all just wanted to make sure there wasn’t some other way I could do from home first before taking it in, I will bring it to shop along with my laptop. Fingers crossed it works!!

Let us know how it works out. If you do not want to spend the money on iCloud services (which I can understand), I would recommend installing Google Photos on your next device. It saved my bacon once back before I decided to just bite the iCloud bullet.
