OT but there is a delay due to incorrect network port being used.(Who is also waiting for his Pi)
iPad's confirmed as arriving next FridayDidn't bother with an ATV as the upgrade was fairly pointless if you already own the ATV2. Not worth another £100 to go from 720p (1080p with jailbreak) to 1080p on the new one.
Next week's going to be exciting. Got a Raspberry Pi shipping on Monday!
(Note if you dont know what that is, you need to look at it. A $25 1080p computer, works as an AppleTV replacement with XBMC and Airplay)
I agree with rmwebs; if you already own an Apple TV2, you do not need to replace it with a new Apple TV, especially now that you can update to the new UI.

Likewise. Listed it on eBay Monday evening and sold it on the day of the announcement for 120. Jailbroken, of course.
This teaches me two things. First, that there is a great resale market for the majority of slightly used Apple products. And second, most people don't care much about 1080p, it's the content variety and added functionality that they really want.
