Shipped on the 15th, Although remember the time zones are all crazy from us to China, so I'm thinking it actually shipped on the 14th and then when the time zone normalized, it had it listed at shipping on the 15th because thats when it shipped from China technically.

Apple must not like Canadians very much mine is still "prepared for shipping" how long does it stay prepared for? I hope it at least gets on a plane today so that it can ship over the weekend and be ready for monday.

Ordered the base 15" MBP on the 15th and it still hasn't left Shanghai yet. 
Ships with UPS cuz I'm in Canada and it's supposed to get here either the 22 or 23, it constantly changes. Keeping my finger crossed.

Mine just updated and it now says it will be delivered on the 22nd. Over a week to deliver it? With expedited 2-3 day shipping? Ridiculous.
Could you possibly post your full tracking history? I want to see what hurdles mine still has to get over to get to me.

Hope this helps, sounds like I just got lucky as hell getting it today. Although I will say that there is one minor blemish above my Trackpad =( which my hands cover up while I type anyhow, Other than that its a beautiful piece of machinery!

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Although I do find it very interesting how some people's computers have arrived and others have not, especially if they were all ordered within the same day. Anyhow, I would keep a close eye on it (I'm sure you will) and if it arrives at the destination facility where you live, see if you can find out which warehouse its at and then go pick it up! I've done that many times, speeds up that long weekend without your product! So thats always an option!
I'll keep TOO close of an eye on it. It just left from Shanghai a couple hours ago and I still keep refreshing the page, even though I know it will be at least 10 hours before it gets to Anchorage.
Patience has never been my strongest quality.

Yeah i do that all the time whenever I order new stuff that is shipped!! You should try and figure out a way to get your mind off it! I found that sleeping is always a reasonable alternative to pass time!

And sleeping is not quite an option as I am still at work. Maybe I'll nap through the weekend though.
I ordered a MB (not Pro) on the day of the keynote and it was shipped by UPS. UPS had a mechanical delay in Hong Kong so it was delayed a bit before it went to Osaka, Japan and then Anchorage and now it's in Louisville.
During the wait, I went to my local Apple store saw the Pro and really liked the screen and so i called Apple to do a return of the yet to be delivered MB. I ordered a Pro from Amazon an hour ago. I chose 1 day shipping so Amazon should deliver on Monday.
Same thing just happened to me. "THE SCHEDULED FLIGHT WAS CANCELED DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND UPS CONTROL" is what it says. I might just have to get it myself soon.
*I am very inpatient when it comes to waiting for my first Mac.
It's been 23 hrs since my MB left Shanghai. No update on fedex......

how do you know it left Shanghai? Does in transit mean it left Shanghai?
