ordered mine with FREE GROUND shipping option at 5pm eastern on the Tuesday the 14th.

FedEx tracking said it missed the cutoff in Shanghai CN on Wednesday 15th.

My MacBook Pro was delivered today at 10:00am!

why?????????

ordered bto mbp Tuesday:eek:rder went through at 2:41 pacific. I'm still at prepared for shipment and people who didn't even go to prepared for shipment until after me have tracking numbers? I feel like this is somehow unfair...

Well BTO machines sometimes take longer than straight up stock machines, this could be part of the reason, but remember that demand for the product is huge right now. I didnt expect mine to even be here until next week sometime but I got incredibly lucky and got it this morning....It sucks but hang in there, im sure fedex and apple are doing their best to get all these units out to the buyers

Originally my Estimated Delivery was listed at Oct 20th but it jumped a whole 3 days and I got it today. I would be willing to bet that you get yours monday, i mean it has all day tomorrow to make some progress...Pretty sure fedex still rolls around on Saturdays so I think monday is the day

Except I'm going to be out of town in Houston all Sunday and Monday. I'm kinda mad now because I could have just bought one at the Apple Store in Houston and gotten it faster. I'm gonna have to go by there anyway to buy the Mini DisplayPort adapters.

Keep checking the status of my Macbook Pro, it's still not yet shipped.

Mine still says "Prepared for Shipment" even though I ordered on October 14 at 12:34 pm.

My only BTO change was to go to the 7200rpm 250GB HDD (from the stock 5400rpm 320GB one).

Here's hoping that they're just slow to update the page.

Yeah I need to buy one of those display adapters too, on a side note does anybody know when those new headphones with the volume control are coming out? Because I wanted to buy a pair of those and the display adapter and then get free shipping on my order.

But I'm not sure if I would trust the fact that the macbooks would be in stock at the apple stores....heard a lot of them selling out immediately on launch day, and its only been a few days...I'm sure stock in the retail stores isn't as good as everyone may think, just a conjecture though....

how do you know it left Shanghai? Does in transit mean it left Shanghai?

Oct 18, 2008 2:55 AM In transit SHANGHAI CN
Oct 17, 2008 11:30 AM Left FedEx origin facility SHANGHAI CN
Yes, that does mean that it left Shanghai.

I know this a thread that was from a long time ago, but I wanted to post in it :]. I ordered my regular MB on Wendsday, shipped on friday. It's supposed to be here this Wendsday. Maybe It'll come earlier...I hope.
