I've been in PFS since friday night and my card was charged on Monday or Tuesday and still no shipping for me...

I think it means it's going through customs. Not positive but I'm pretty sure:D

haha it has been detained going through security. it didn't have proper identification with it's boarding pass ;)
 
both previous posters: if you were in HK i believe the only flight was to memphis. i looked on flighttracker and it's the only one. hope that helps! we'll know in 7 hours!!

my iphones is prob sharing a bunk with yours haha, i have the same, when i called earlier they told me it had left hk on its way to usa. idk if its going to alaska or memphise

NM. my original post was wrong. Hopefully it's on that flight to Memphis. Been in HK over 36 hours.

mine still shows international shipment release- does this mean its getting ready to get on the plane? i sure hope so! the flight from ak to california leaves in around an hr

Yeah, after thinking about it for awhile earlier today, this was the conclusion I came to as well; it was on a pallet/container, and the whole thing was shipped to Memphis to be divvied up. Why he didn't just say that, instead of blaming Apple for their obstreperousness, I don't know.

I just checked my status, and it's "in transit" from Memphis. Too bad I don't get frequent flyer miles from this! :rolleyes:
 
Perhaps I am being daft but does this not make sense to anyone else? UTC is the same as GMT. So for MEmphis which is in the Central time zone, It is UTC -6 hours. So if the flight left at 9:59PM UTC, that's 3:59PM CDT. There is no way that the flight from HK to Memphis is less than 8 hours. It's got to be more like 18.

Is there a specific reason, if anybody knows why fedex has 2 tracking numbers for my order?

I don't know which one to follow.
 
2 shipping numbers

Okay now I have 2 shipping numbers (the same number though). One says Im in Hong Kong, the other in SHENZHEN.

Bizarre. Anyone else have this issue?
 
My Exact Tracking status:


July 9th, 1:43 AM (In Transit) Lantau Island, HK
July 9th, 1:37 AM (At local Fedex Facility) Lantau Island, HK
July 8th, 1:33 PM (Left FedEx origin Facility) Shenzhen CN
July 8th, 11:06 AM (Picked up) Shenzhen CN (Fedex cutoff notice)
July 7th, 2:03PM (Info Sent to Fedex)

So is it going to Memphis?
