I see mine had some issues in Alaska or something...

wtf???

Okay i ordered on the 17th since it wouldn't let me order on the 15th and 16th. So how come my status is prepared for shipment but people who ordered days after me have it already shipped to them and is in transit?? This makes me sad =[ that im not a valuable customer to apple.

If you look at the time it departed anch,AK it is 4:34. That is the exact time the plane left. The day before when it arrived in AK it barely missed the outgoing flight. Plus you also need time to sort.

yeah that happened to me when they shipped my bumper. It was "in transit" in Shenzhen for 2 days. Probably missed the flight or plane was full

Apple hates me too, I'm on day 6 (soon to be 7) of PFS.

I know how you feel. I ordered on the 16th! Mine just shipped last night at 11pm! It was going on day 6 of PFS!

Okay mine better ship today at 11PM. otherwise somebody at the local apple store is gonna get hurt real bad.
 
When i tracked my bumper shipping to me from CN i noticed a few things:

1. When it arrives in AK it will stay there for few hours to 1 day
2. When the tracking says departed anchorage at xx:xx time that is the planes actual departure time. So if you want to know where the plane is headed go to flightaware.com. Under the "live tracking" drop down menu click "browse by operator". Type in the code FDX for fedex. It will show all the fedex planes currently flying on the map. Under the map is a list of departures and arrivals. Look for the ones that departed anchorage and match the time. Once you have done that click that flight and you can see where the plane (and iphone) is in the world real time.
3. Now you will know where the plane is going to land. For me it landed in Oakland, CA instead of memphis, TN for most people. From OAK it was trucked to my city Sacramento. It sat at there warehouse for 1 day then delivered.

Hope that helped! I think i have OCD or something for the lengths i go to to find info on tracking.

UPDATE: Phone made it through AK, then Memphis, and is now in CT at the local sorting facility about 50 miles from my house. From the beginning Fed Ex tracking said delivery on July 9th, and it would seem they meant it. I had plenty of WTF? moments as I checked for updates this week. Once it hits the US, Fed Ex moves it along pretty quick. All you guys guys wearing the ink off your F5 keys, take heart - it'll get there.

Yep I talked to them on the 5th and was assured by them and ATT that everything was fine with my order, my ATT contract was updated on monday and my credit card was charged. The guy on the phone said it looked good to ship on the 14th, not sure why my order is going to sit in PFS for 2 weeks.:(

sweet looked up the time and it looks like there was a flight at 4pm from anchorage alaska to newark international airport that lands at 2 am would be sweet if they get it to edison and then out for delivery tomorrow.
 
Lets say my phone is on the plane to Memphis right now from Hong Kong, when will it update and say it is there? as soon as it gets there or like 6 hours

it usually updates right away but planes from hong kong usually go to anchorage alaska first and then to memphis.
 
if departure scans hold true to flight departures, then my phone is on the plane to memphis and has 56 more minutes in the air!!! i hope they have it set on airplane mode!! i'm starting to get super excited!!!:D:D:D:D

Probably within an hour of arrival. Is it really going to Memphis Direct? Must be new 777F planes.

Usually Fedex routes everything from asia through their Anchorage Hub because the DC-10 and MD-11 doesn't have big enough fuel tanks. But if its going direct to memphis to be sorted thatll save about 1 day.

Expect it coming tomorrow sir!!! Most of the domestic planes don't leave Memphis until 2AM. It will arrive in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow at your local fedex served airport. It will be sorted quickly between 5-7AM and Delivered between 8AM-4:30 PM!
 
50 minutes left in my phones flight to oakland!! is it possible i could get it tomorrow if i live around 40 minutes away from oakland?
