So is there a way that I can tell what flight this is on and where it was heading?

How did you determine when your phone was manufactured?

Received mine yesterday (one day earlier than estimated by Fedex). Sync'd my iPhone 3G one last time to iTunes and then synced my iPhone 4 off of that backup. Works great so far! No antenna issues, but that's only based on a few calls, but still great because I sometimes have issues with the AT&T signal at my house. Also no proximity sensor issues, but only time will tell. For me, the greatest thing about this phone is the processing speed! After watching my 3G get slower and slower over time, it's great to see apps, web pages, and email load very quickly.

Best of luck to the rest of you in getting your phones shipped quickly!
 
Mine is finally out for delivery this morning in Indianapolis. First hit PFS on the 3rd (I think). Original order on the 16th at about 6PM pacific.

I can finally stop posting in this thread and start posting in the threads about how the glass is broken, I have yellow spots, my photos have green spots, and the signal strength drops when my dog licks it. Yay!
 
UK Shipment "Merge" Issues

I'm turning into one unhappy bunny here.

Ordered early and got 1 July shipment date for 5-6 July delivery. Sure enough on1 July it says Shipped - marvelous...:)

9 days later still no courier details and no change in shipment but it starts quoting deliver on 15 July - WTF?

One email later to Apple Support and it turns out they are holding the phone so that the bumper can get shipped with it. They need to mere the shipments...:confused:

Frankly I don't give a hoot about Apple saving a couple of quid on postage but I do care that they are prepared to let me wait 10 days for the product. That's not customer service.:eek:

I hope the damn thing works OK as it might take me two weeks to merge it with the bumper to send back and ask for a refund.:mad:

On Vehicle for Delivery!

I waited 3 weeks and now these next 7 hours while I'm at work are going to feel like the longest...
 
Wow, I finally got my shipping email from apple after I gave up on checking the status. Funny how that works. ordered a 32gb 10:30 am EDT on june 24th to NYC, delivered by the 15th.

well it seems that my phone didn't make any flights yesterday and got to sight see around Hong Kong for another day. there is a flight leaving in 20 or so minutes to memphis. hopefully my phone will catch that flight and come home to me.
 
Still sitting at left FedEx origin Facility at either Lantau Island or Shenzhen, CN depending on which tracking option you choose when you enter the number at FedEx. Starting to feel like mine is sitting on a pallet in the back of some storage shed and has been forgotten.

From Newark it'll have to make its way down to the Philadelphia area -- probably Fort Washington or Horsham. It looks like I won't have it until Monday, unless it gets into the local distribution center this afternoon and they let me pick it up there today or tomorrow.

Has anyone picked up their iPhone from FedEx? I've heard varying levels of success with doing that.

What about Saturday delivery? Has anyone gotten that in the USA?

my status says left FedEx origin facility too, out of Lantau. You need to check the second tracking number. the first one shows your first pick up at the earliest date. the second one shows the rest of it's tracking.

hopefully we'll get on the next flight out of there!
 
Mine is finally on truck for shipment.

Here is a summary for you guys trying to figure out how long it might take.

Earlier this week, my bumper took the Anchorage-Newark flight. Then it hit Linwood, PA (sort facility), then Fort Washington (quick AM visit before heading out for delivery).

Well, mine left Memphis to come back to Anchorage at 3:32am. Depending on how long that flight takes, it may or may not get delivered today. If not, that means I'll probably have to wait until Monday, since I don't think FedEx delivers on Saturday unless it is specifically requested (and paid for).
