So the ships by July 14th people have their phones arriving today or in the next few days? Awesome. Hopefully I see my phone next week or so. I'm one of those "Ships by July 22nd" people

I just spoke with a very nice lady at Fedex and she said that your shipments will leave JP today and go to AK, then possibly (but most likely) Memphis, then to our local facility. Still scheduled on time. She also said that my package had a special code (IPD or something like that) that is special to Apple. SO she knew that it was an Apple delivery without me even saying anything. Interesting.....

And to the guy who said "sign up for FedEx notification email" - I have signed up twice and still haven't received an email. Nothing in spam folder either...
ATTN: Everyone whos package "Left Fedex Ramp" in Incheon. I just spoke with a representative (who had a southern accent =]) and she said it is going to Alaska, and we should deff have it by Monday.
Mine still says "In Transit, Lantau Island HK". I thought that meant it was on it's way out of Hong Kong, because the entry before is "At local FedEx facility, Lantau Island HK". Now I have no idea where my phone is in transit to.
Edit: Aaaaand nevermind. Thanks to whoever mentioned SimpleTracking. My phone is apparently hanging out in South Korea.

your the big winner!!!!! thank you! it looks like we have a few hours before it leaves osaka then. it'll be nice to track it in our own country and on our own time. the 12+- hour difference is hurting my head!

Ha! This is why I love this forum. Somehow I forsee myself doing the same thing in a few days when mine makes it on the truck.
For those of you who have your iphones currently on Lantau is, HK. That is where HK intl airport is. It is in a large shipping queue so they only have limited space in the planes. SO what is happening is that some of the iphones are being repositioned at other asian cities where fedex still has room in their planes. Remember, FedEx must the box to us in 5 or less business days from date of pickup from apple otherwise they will have to refund apple. So everyone, rest assured that your phones will come!
