Ya they did that too me as well. I am in Riverside, CA - I did notice on simpletracking.com that it left Los Angeles and is back in Ontario this morning.

Ok Fedex tracking is lagging again. It still says my phone just left Memphis when yahoo tracking said it landed in Los Angeles.

idk about the note thing but im pretty sure you can have a neighbor (in this case, your dad) sign it for you. Idk all the details though. The info is on fedex's site if u want to check it out.
