From the looks of it everyones iphones are getting to their local city and fedex locations tonight so maybe theyll get put on trucks in the morning and delivered!!! everyone pray for an early delivery whoo!

Login to your apple.com account and print out the pre-sign for shipment form which is next to your order number and fill out the form with the address where you want it to go.
There is a paper you have to print out and sign then tape to your door. You can write on the paper to give it to your dad but he has to be there to sign it.
Sounds good. I ordered off of ATT though. Can you link me to the pre-sign paper?
I'm not sure that would work. WHen going thru Apple, the "you must sign for this shipment" form is customized with your Apple order #, name, address, etc.
It IS possible that since you went thru AT+T, they dont have the same requirements. I'd call the sales folks at ATT tonight and ask if you must sign for the shipment, and if so, I'd go ahead and leave a note with the carrier tracking number, your name and address and your signature. All the carrier wants is proof that you have OK'd the drop.
And if you want to give them your dad's address across the street, that's also fine, as long as they get a SIGNATURE. GOOD LUCK - my tag is already taped to my front door!

i actually made it on the last flight!! the only thing is that flight landed about 2.5 hours ago and it still shows in transit form memphis. maybe they'll just scan it when it gets to my local facility. only about and hour from the airport but it takes them a while i'm sure to get their truck loaded and driven there.

YES it requires a sig. print out the signature form attached to the email you received from Apple.

At exactly 9pm tonight, it LEFT Newark...
That means overnight it will truck itself 3 hrs down Rte 1 from Jersey to Delaware and should be on the local delivery FEDEX truck by 8am Monday!!!
Good luck to all others for a Monday delivery - esp to ILOVEMYAPPLE - even if you dont still love FEDEX.

check the yahoo tracker. It has more updates while fedex only puts important updates about tracking.

Mine shows it arrived in Sacramento at the same time as yours and that's the last update I have. I'm thinking it must be a mistake in their system, didn't someone else's tracking show something weird like that yesterday? I think it showed it left Memphis, then arrived in Oklahoma and then back in Memphis.
i wish i could but i can't. they split my tracking number back in china and can't pull it up on yahoo.
DAMN I JUST WANT IT TO SAY "Left Fedex Ramp". ugh it still says "arrived at fedex ramp" in Jamaica NY.
When it first shipped out, it said 1.3lbs and now after memphis, it says 1.2 lbs. I'm guessing the machines weighing the package in China were slightly off from the one's in Memphis.
I just checked both the fedex and the yahoo/fedex tracking and they both say the same thing: 1.2 lbs/.5kg.
Not sure why your stated weight would change, unless it is just operator error when they scanned it last time.

Is it possible that the weight shifted or it wasn't on the scale properly?
wait, are you checking the fedex tracking or yahoo tracking? because my fedex tracker is still on "departed memphis" while yahoo tracker has that typo thing.
