The prices on activation locked phones make me think that there are at least a few people who know a way around it or something like swapping parts on the logic board there are some really smart people that buy on ebay.Either that or they are thinking ha ha dummies I'll do a dfu and be set idk what's up but I've seen quite a few going at a high price

He may not of activated 'Find my iPhone' in which case the phone will be an iPod Touch at best.

Go into Settings / iCloud and if 'Find my iPhone' is turned on, you're golden

If you try to turn it off, it should ask for your iTunes password, try it, you can just click cancel.

It was relisted and sold again. Why does eBay even allow this kind of thing? The phone is clearly stolen or warranty fraud. If you check his feedback you can clearly see he did it with an iPhone 5 too.
