no way the 13 pro is a 2 day battery phone. with high usage the phone will be depleted by the end of the night.

you should be getting about 5-6.5 hr screen on time when out and about, and 8-9 hr screen on time if mostly indoors on wifi w/ low to medium brightness setting.

and when i mean screen on time i mean actual screen on time when the screen is on, not including background tasks
This is what I get + that’s pretty good to be honest. I doubt anyones phone on here is “bad”. There can be discrepancies in lithium ion batteries but they’ll be most apparent with battery health over a long period.

Also remember the percentage is not an accurate read of the battery charge, it has to be estimated.

There does seem to be some bugs in iOS15 and some apps causing excessive battery drain but this should improve over time.

13. pro regular hows the battery?

My battery capacity is already less than the design capacity on coconut battery and imazing. 98.9% health after 6 cycles! Looks like the 13 pro is going to drop quickly just like the 12 pro did for a lot of people.

I tend to get more out of battery after resetting all settings. My first 3-4 days sucked but after the reset the battery is way more stable now.

It looks like you got about 3 hours on 20% battery used. Based on that, you would have gotten 15 hours on 100% battery which is not possible. This is a problem seen in iOS 15, not accurate battery usage reporting.

Someone else pointed this out to me, if you run an app for a few seconds and then kill it off, the time reported will be 1 minute. If you start 10 apps that same way, it will be reported as 10 minutes. So iOS 15 is definitely over reporting app time used. It is always over reporting app time used to the next minute. I have verified that myself. We already know that iOS 15 is over reporting battery percentage. So I believe what we are seeing in the battery usage charts is over reporting app time used and battery percentage used. Which confirms my suspicion that the battery usage charts are not useful because they are over reported.

My question is, has there been any change in the iOS 15.1 beta that corrects the over reporting of battery usage?

Hello, guys!
Has anyone tried full reset for data and restored it again? Did it help?
Bought iPhone 13 Pro in 10 October. I guess the battery is not great compared to 2 years old iPhone 11.

I'm not sure if it is a bug or not. For example, I restarted the device on 93% battery, after turning it on I see 88%.

The 5% loss is normal, don't worry about it (Apple lies to you a little with the initial percentage to make you feel the battery isn't depleting as much, but this % difference will lessen as time passes to 1-2%). Not a bug, not a defect.

Mine has average battery life, restored as new, restored in DFU, no changes. I now re-paired my Watch 5 as new, let's see if it changes something. The biggest offender in my case is LTE/cellular data, in WiFi the phone will last a lot more
