I finally put my 13pm on the charger. It went about 53 hours since early Monday morning before the battery got down to 25%. Admittedly, that was only about 2 1/2 hours per day of screen time.

Some replied here seem to suggest it's the component linking with the watch that drains the battery
I'll keep an eye out for that.

<cough cough>
I just picked up my 13 Pro Max and am setting it up now. <cough>. I couldn't resist.

Okey got way better battery life now compared last time i posted, battery life has improved alot after i overnight charged the phone.
Now at this rate i got about 30% loss battery/day with 2hour screen time.

The App Store appears to be really expensive in terms of energy drain. This morning in about 3 hours my battery went from 100% to 93% and when I checked in the battery app who was the culprit the top energy user was the App Store with 37%. But I just got my phone yesterday so it’s been doing lots of app downloads, and I think that has something to do with it.

You know mine was terrible at the start, but I’m really starting to see some improvement now. Hopefully it continues!

3hr screen on so far today (albeit very light use), but still at 90% right now.

How long did it take before you starting seeing improvements? I'm on Day one with my Pro model and am not thrilled yet.

Gotta love these bigger batteries ..my 13 regular is lasting me about 2 full days a charge, granted I browse macrumors forum on my ancient iPad mini gen1 so it isn't affecting my phone but love this phone so much coming from the XS

I saw the improvement by day three.

I’m very happy now. Now I am surprised that it lasts as long as it does. I do have WIFI turned off, though. I only use cellular data.

That's helpful thanks. Isn't Wifi more stable and less of a battery hog than cellular?

My 14 days is up tomorrow and trying to establish if my battery is ok. I charged it last night to 85% and in 24 hrs it’s at 65%. I’m not a heavy user at all So in that time it was only about 1 hour screen on time re whatsappp, mail, insta etc. lots of emails being pushed throughout the day etc and various checking the battery.

in a separate time I played a few films and it’s up to scratch re 20 hours of play if I extrapolated out the battery used.

standby drain varies depending how i charged the battery. If I charged to 100% it would lose around 1% over night, but on nights I don’t charge it before it’s losing 3% to 4% a night.

does this all sound about right for the iPhone 13 pro?

Sounds very good to me. My Pro is probably worse. Drains quite fast when you use for some things. For others, like watching videos, lasts a lot, like 5% per hour

Shown percentage isn’t always real, there can be up to 5% difference especially when it’s full. You can see 100% but maybe it’s already at 96%. It’s intentional. I think yours is ok

I find that mine lasts longer when I don’t have constant drain of the WIFI turned on. I can get all the data I need from cellular but I can’t answer phone calls with WIFI alone.

In wifi my 13P lasts double the time roughly, LTE really kills it in my case

I’m just going from my previous experiences. I may need to keep an open mind and give it another chance with my iPhone 13 Pro.

no way the 13 pro is a 2 day battery phone. with high usage the phone will be depleted by the end of the night.

you should be getting about 5-6.5 hr screen on time when out and about, and 8-9 hr screen on time if mostly indoors on wifi w/ low to medium brightness setting.

and when i mean screen on time i mean actual screen on time when the screen is on, not including background tasks

Is it better to have it on dark mode, does that take less battery? today is my first day, very heavy usage, and ending the day at 30% which seems just okay to me, not excellent..... its probably indexing..

should help. and also disabling 'hey siri.' put on a static full black wallpaper. i never liked using bright wallpapers, its like a torch mode when youre in a dark room.
