What is the world would waiting a month have done? The iPhone 6 would have been the iPhone 6. These phones are made long before they are released. A month would have done nothing. If you really don't like what Apple did. You need to wait until the iPhone 7 is released.

Being as several key features of iOS 8 weren't ready at launch, waiting a month could have had the hardware release match the software release.

When several key features of keynote (Apple Pay, Health, iCloud Camera Roll) aren't available on until a month after release....your hardware was released to early.

Apple gets a free pass on it because we all love Apple. But iOS was definitely behind schedule.

I'm content with the release schedule.

I opted for the IP6+ because the differences between my (now traded in) iPhone 5c and iPhone 6 is rather minor to me. On the other hand the IP6+ offers a better camera, better display, better battery.

If I am not mistaken the OP was talking more about the phone. The design, and bendgate. Some of it was software which we can agree on was a little shaky out of the gate. My question as you can see in my comment are about the design. Waiting a month would have done nothing in that regard.

On the software side of things. Sure we could have waited a month to push out the iPhone 6 & 6+ along side iOS 8. The problem is I think the expectations would have been even higher. Having to wait a month more than ever before. People would have expected perfection from Apple.

Now I am not disagreeing that iOS 8 has been a bit messy so far. I am just not sure a month would have made things that much better.

I received my iPhone 6 on release day and it already no longer feels new. Its only feature is an increased screen size, and the display itself doesn't even look better than my 5. The battery life and camera are nice, but otherwise most of its features lie in iOS 8, which hasn't been "fully" released yet. Apple Pay still has not been activated, and many other features involve OSX Yosemite, which also hasn't been released. Apple should have either waited another month to release the phones or been more prepared in September.

For the first time in history, Apple should scratch the 6S/6+S next year and jump into the iPhone 7.:p
