Should I buy a MacBook?

Apple's dropping PPC support anyways with Snow Leopard. I say go with a refurbished macbook. cheaper than the student discount and might get a free ipod still. if you need it just for basic school functions, you don't need the latest, greatest macbook. stock configuration will work fine.
