Do you guys think the skins are not good for the MacBook's chassis? And do you guys think it's even worth it if you already have a sleeve, I just want the skin for safety.
I purchased the Bestskinever for the bottom of my 2018 Macbook Pro and it is nearly invisible unless I point it out to someone. For installation I was very careful and used baby shampoo instead of dish soap along with distilled water to eliminate the chance of imperfections. I liked it so much that I contacted the company for a discount on the remaining pieces. I know the outer top should be fine where the apple logo is but I'm concerned about the palm rest and trackpad locations because of the tight tolerances. Has anyone expereinced screen damage by using these skins in this area?

I used a skin since 12/2016 but I also used this radtech keyboard cover to help protect the screen. I always have a cleaning cloth in my travels.

I’ve also used a skin, dbrand carbon. Scratches are part of the reason but even more important to me is making the Mac less slippery. Any advice on other skins that provide good grip? Thanks!
