Hey guys! When my aunt bought me my i5 17" 2010 mbp for graduation, she also bought me Microsoft Office 2008 business edition. Since its the summer before my freshman year at Penn State, I haven't been playing around with Word much, but from what I have seen, it seems much more complicated than I'm used to. I'm sure that I'd get used to it, but I want to ensure that my transition would be simple in my first few weeks at school with papers, so I was wondering if I should purchase iWork, as I've been told it is much simpler and straight forward for macs. My campus is both a pc and a mac campus, so this is strictly based on ease with making powerpoints, spread sheets and word documents!
