Well I ended up getting a 16gb iPod Touch. I just couldnt justify picking the classic since I would probably never use it.
You justified getting something that you will never use (or at least now you won't ever use one of your touches) for something that you probably would never use? Seems like you made the right choice.
I sold my iPod touch when I got an iPhone. I use my iPhone all the time. When I got my Macbook Pro I snagged a 120GB iPod classic, which I use in the car. I bought an iPod nano for the gym, but it went through the washing machine in my gym shorts so I got a shuffle.
Each iPod has a niche that it excels at. That's why it's best to get at least two from different families.
