It sounds like you need a cupcake. They have so much more features. You save the calories but get all the same chocolate plus frosting and more sprinkles.

Yea but if he gets a cupcake and regrets it 6 months from now, he won't get near as much return on it...

I find that the wait for the next brownie is made easier by occasionally treating yourself to a trip to the kitchen to look/smell/touch the current (not raisin!) brownies. Although trying not to take a bite is pretty tough.

Having my girlfriend point out that I've already had some brownies is normally helpful (hurtful) too.

I think in the end, buying a new Mac is very much like deciding on when to eat a chocolate brownie. Doesn't matter which one you pick or when you pick it, you'll generally end up very pleased with the result :apple:

Was the brownie pointed towards Jupiter?

First of all, on the Simpsons when Homer says: "Doh", if you reverse the letters and substitute "G" for "H" (much like "HAL" the computer in "2001") you end up with the word: "God"...

I figured this out after eating a _very_ nice brownie.

I would suggest that you eat the brownie, if only to expand your universe :p

I know you guys are all rabid 'gourmet' brownie fanboys but I'm just going to come out and say that brownies are incredibly overpriced and cookies are just as good! Plus there's a much bigger selection! Sure, sometimes you'll have problems with the Blue Cookie Monster of Death eating all of your cookies, but it's super rare now with the latest recipes.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about these new brownies. I've been eating the same piece of unleavened pita bread I got in 1998 and it provides just as much nutrition as one of these new, expensive brownies you guys are going crazy over. Candidly, I haven't really cared for the baker since they switched to using that new oven. The old stone-fired baking was always a superior technique and created much more special products.

Bottom line, maybe you shouldn't get wrapped up in worry about all the new brownie rumors. You can put the old unleavened bread in your mouth, chew, and swallow exactly like you do with the new brownies. Don't believe the hype that you need brownies at all.

This is one of the best parody thread ever.

I just got my Brownies Pro with my student discount (Hell, brownies are expensive for a low budget student like me). It was a great idea! I also got the BrownieCare Plan so that if they turn out to be crappy in the end, I can go and swap them for free at the BrownieBar in the BrownieStore with a Brownius.

Any brownie hackers here?

Has anyone tried baking their own brownies? I watched a YouTube video some brownie hacker had made showing how he'd made a batch of brownies from scratch!

I know it sounds crazy but he claimed you can build a better brownie for less money than the brownie store does. Is this true? The guy claimed that you can buy the same brand cocoa that the brownie store uses and add neat things to your homemade brownies that the store doesn't even offer -- like walnuts, whipped cream and even chocolate chips! The guy also claimed you can make any size batch of brownies that suits your budget, ranging from tiny to huge!

Don't get me wrong -- I love the portable packs of brownies the brownie store offers. I constantly buy them and use them on the go. But I crave brownies at home too. And the brownie store doesn't offer what I want anymore!

Just a few years back, the brownie store sold a tower-sized pack of brownies that was really affordable. I bought several of them. But, as we all know, after the brownie store changed over to using that other brand of cocoa in their brownies all that has changed!

I'm sick and tired of waiting for the brownie store to offer a mid-size pack of brownies at a decent price. The new tower-size pack they offer is just over-kill. And their all-in-one home snack-pack is just something geared towards children. And don't get me started on the bite-size pack!

Does anyone have a successful brownie recipe for making a mid-size pack of brownies they'd like to share? I understand it's not all that easy to do but I've baked several chocolate cakes before and they turned out great. I'd like to take a shot at baking my own brownies!
