Should I get MGS4?

Yeah I REALLY enjoy graphic novel style games/movies, where you can pause it at anytime and make that a frame.

Most of the characters are old characters. Youll be wondering who they are and why they react the way they do to snake. It would still make a good game though.

Before playing it may be a good idea to watch the cutscenes of the old games on youtube, especially mgs3 and mgs1. Or watch the first 2 parts of this for a very simplified synopsis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM-MFzmWmPY

Get it and then Download The MGS Data base its a wikipedia for all things metal gear it will get you filled up on everything and then some

It's hard for me to say if you've never played any other Metal Gear Solid. I also have to disclose that this is probably my favorite series ever.

Jesus, what a game though. It is so, so, so, so good. I think every PS3 owner should have this title - I can't imagine a video game being more well made than MGS4.
