Shure's are not comparable to the Apple Bud and shouldn't be.

The idea that you can push in the ear buds is ridiculous, earphones arent made for you to have extra sets of hands...

I actually just picked up the Shure I2c-ms a few days ago, and they are quite nice. Though, I find the headset itself rather bulky with thick cables. I assume it's another quality measure that comes natural with Shure headphones.

They take a bit of getting used to in comparison with the standard buds, but the noise cancellation and quality sound are excellent. Though, I would of preferred some not quite as bulky.

iPHONE BUDS:
• Now put the Apple iPhone buds on.
• Place your hands over you ears with your palms facing toward your face
• Place your thumbs behind the back of you ears
• Use your index fingers to press the iPhone buds in you ears
• Use your middle fingers to press the little flaps on the front of your ears against the the buds.
• This simulates sound isolation.

Try this:

- Put the earbuds at the back of your throat just next to your rear teeth
- get some pepper breathe it in and just when you are about to sneeze try to swallow the phones
- while sneezing keep your mouth shut
--> the phones will end up in your eustachian tubes- the sound quality is amazing!!! the cable coming out of your mouth is a bit awkward, though.

But seriously, sound isolating phones sound good because they seal your ear canal and are much more efficient, the apple phones are NOT sound isolating and still sound like crap.

I saw some rubber caps on ebay which theoretically should turn the apple earphones into insulated ones, did anyone try them?

I got an email today saying that Shure is having a 25% off sale on all earphones on its website. The coupon code is SADJACK.
