Should I just get a 2010?

i would wait. at the very least, the processor will be upgraded. possibly things like graphics, RAM, batter, etc. apple has a history of keeping things at the same price point or dropping. so if you can find a way to wait, you'll get a better machine at most likely equal or lower cost.

Yeah I know. But I make a habit of not shopping in those stores, rude staff and everything. I also would not get any 10% discount or BTS promo. Thanks for the tip though!
The problem is the GPU will be downgraded.
I will most likely order the current one tomorrow or something like that. Just to get a computer.

If you feel the new model will meet your needs and expectations, just buy that one. You won't be disappointed. Buy and don't look back!!

Really? The only ones I've seen are either priced the same as at the Apple Store, don't have Apple Care, or are the older models. Maybe I missed the boat?
I think refurbished products take a much bigger price cut when there's a new processor. The Core 2 Duo refurbished iMacs are 36% off.
36% off a 13" Macbook Air means $832.

If it's 800 or so, or even cheaper on eBay or Craig's list..get a 2010. Otherwise just get the latest and greatest.
Wait for refresh & then buy 2010 13" Ultimate
I have a 2010 13" Ultimate and I love it, but I'm weary about the Intel integrated graphics of the upcoming 2011 refresh. I do a fair share of gaming but not much video encoding and the 2010 model is more than sufficient for me. I've been pretty impressed with my 13" Ultimate because every game I've tried, my favorite games being Civ IV and now Civ V, on maximum settings and I haven't had any slow down or crashing at all. I'm definitely keeping this laptop and I'd recommend waiting a few weeks and then buying a discounted 13" Ultimate if you can find one before the supply completely dries up on the 2010 models. That's my 2 cents.

You have to look for deals. Amazon also sells used. Saw someone selling a 13" ultimate on Amazon for $1250. That's WAY cheaper than a refurb. I've seen many for $150-200 off refurb prices, you just have to sort through the ripoffs.
I just picked a perfect 11" ultimate 2 months into warranty with Applecare for $1100. Refurb price sans applecare is $1189.
I ended up paying for the 128 2GB.
But I went home with the 256 4GB.
During the course of the day, Apple messed up my customer service (told me they had what I wanted, I drove 40 minutes and they didn't have it). I made a stink and surprisingly the manager accommodated me. Refurb price but not a refurb and warranty/new product? I had to buy it after that. This kind of luck never happens at Apple!
