I wonder if I buy one for my little sister add the 30 day plan to it then after 30 days put in her regular AT&T sim will that work?

The phone is usable on ATT Postpaid without immediately without unlocking if bought ATT Prepaid. But if you want to unlock in the future, I'm not sure how that is done if you don't use it on prepaid for 6 months. For use on Verizon, for example. The $35 could be treated as just part of the price of the phone.

Tempting as a backup phone except for the 32GB of storage for me. Doesn't seem like the higher storage version is discounted. At least it isn't the 16GB model that was the cheap one a couple years ago.

Any guess or speculation are as valid as another at this point when it comes to the 'new' SE.
I've read so many speculations about it I can't even keep track, they are countless.
Everybody must love SE though. :D
But I found that link interesting as it was no speculation, just a pic.

We'll see what will happen with our beloved SE. Nobody knows.

Of course nobody knows except Apple. However, That’s great that you and others appreciate iPhone SE, but the point is, it won’t be in 2018 with three new iPhones debuting in September in all likeliness, especially given the majority of their conflicting rumors about the SE were predicting Spring and WWDC, which were bogus. As I said, if it does launch again, I suspect it won’t be until 2019, and that’s a strong ‘Maybe.’

Just got the se this week and I’m pretty happy with it.

Content that I spent $185 rather 700-1000 for a new phone, and it meets all my daily needs.

Hey great! Do tell us all your thoughts and experiences with the SE.

Former 5S user here - with withdrawal symptoms!

I used to get the latest phones each year. I'm holding on to a iPhone SE 32GB right now and use it primarily. The value of the device if you can get it for less than $200 is very high.

Wait another month or so and get a 6s. Prices will be rock-bottom in anticipation of the announcement of the 2018 iPhone lineup. If you really want an iPhone SE look at Boost Mobile. It's 160USD and at 35USD for service including mobile hotspot "and" if Boost Mobile has decent speeds in your area, it's a deal that's hard to beat.

One more thing: if they get rid of bezels in some future model, the 30% extra screen should knock down the battery life somehow. And that's a top praise point on the SE, right?

Or $160 with Verizon Prepaid at $40/mo for service. They DO allow hotspot and offer VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.

The SE is good value, but personally I would look for a unlocked 7 or even 6s. I found a 6s the other day for $130 unlocked and in pristine condition. I also found a nice black iPhone 7 unlocked for $225. I felt like great deals on both phones.

I would love an SE again if I could find for ~$100. However I feel like a 6s is a better find if you could find one in your price range.

I also know that “most” innards between a 6s and SE are the same, but they’re not really. The front facing camera for the 6s is miles ahead. The you have 2nd gen. TouchID...they’re are enough differences for Me from a 6s and SE To go after a 6s before SE.
