It is NOT fine. The only thing you can adjust with the OSD is brightness.

Rant Begins

Once you are free of Steve's Reality Bubble you realise that, Gosh !, other company's products are actually quite cheap and really good.

This is what happened to me a few years back and i decided to buy a 24" Dell instead of a 23" ACD.

Fantastic monitor, brilliant price and loads more features then the Apple option.

Or, to put my argument another way - You don't need a professional grade monitor to read your e mails and play WOW.

The ACD is very good, but dated, unreliable and very very expensive for the average user.

If Steve wants any more money from me he should remember than Apple used to make computers, and put the effort in to make a model worth buying.

Rant Over.

;)

I definitely think the Apple Cinema Displays are best in their price range.

Granted you can get monitors with better technical specifications than the Apple Cinema Display line and more input options (some cares about that, other's don't) but there are more things to consider than specifications.

Mostly I find Apple being very generous about their technical specifications compared to many other manufacturers.

At least we swear to Apple at work but have a single Dell 24" monitor. There is a reason every new monitor we buy is still Apple.

But you can save a bunch going the Dell route.
