Don't wait, maybe for something like the battery they can incorporate improvements to the iOS to maximize it's effectiveness. But for my usage pattern it's been great so far

Apple has acknowledged the Wifi issue and is looking into it. Apparently there is an internal memo where Apple actually admits there may be a problem.

I'm thinking of waiting a bit. I was going to get one when I go to the US shortly, but if I get one with a yellow/ pink whatever screen there, then I don't want to have the additional hassle coming back and having to deal with addressing it with Apple when it's bought in another country. My iPad 2 will have to do for a little while longer.
