Should the iPad camera lens protrude?

  • No, it should not protrude.

  • Yes, is should protrude if necessary.

Results are only viewable after voting.
The iPad pro should be thicker so that the camera doesn't protrude and the extra space should be used for battery.

I just LMAO reading all the posts by people who don't run a multi $100 Billion company and question the intelligence of same.

Um they are running one of the most successful companies in the world. And you (and I of course)? We're having petty little P---ing matches on an Internet forum. :D

I BELIEVE otherwise....

And MOST of the voters on this poll disagree with you.

People are allowed to have an opinion, believe it or not.

However, architectural drawings can be very large, complicated, multilayered PDFs. Modern 3D models are also increasingly heavyweight, containing infinite detail on every aspect of the building. I just don't think 2Gb of RAM is going to cut it for long.

Don't worry maybe the next 9.7 inch iPad Pro might have 4GB of RAM when it gets announced in 12-18 months time....

I still think the current new 9.7 inch iPad Pro(or the Air 2) with 2GB of RAM might just serve you fine for a least over a year until the new 9.7 inch Pro(hopefully with 4GB of RAM) gets announced but then again at the same time I don't really know about on what you do like creating 3D models/buildings things like that.....

But what about the aesthetic value the look the beauty of the iPad that it spoils ?

"Spoils?"

Yes they can have an opinion. What I take most issue with is the melodrama that follows. Have your opinion and state it.

An opinion is "I don't care for the look of the protruding lens breaking up the clean lines."

Melodrama already illustrated above.

Seeing as it won't matter when I put a slim case on it, I couldn't care less. Same with my 6S.

I put "yes it should if necessary". Personally this does not bother me. It's going in a case or I'll use a smart cover and tuck it behind the iPad anyhow. It doesn't much matter to me.

Which would you prefer, camera as good as they can have it and NOT protrude, or camera has good as they can put in even if it protrudes?

I'll take a useful, relatively high end camera that protrudes over the usual turd of a camera typically installed in all the previous iPads. I'd rather it NOT protrude, but, it seems the current situation dictates this. Perhaps future decent cameras will not protrude.
