Hi all,
Been reading Mac Rumors for years, great rumours and great resource for information... Thanks.

Some real inspiring paintings in here and its great to see people using the iPad as a creative outlet, so please don't let this thread disappear.

Anyway, here is my first iPad painting. Got another 2 on the go which are taking a bit longer, but I hope to post them when they are done.

Thanks.

Wow, great contrast. Looks gloomy

Bump.

Let's keep this thread going.

I've got some stuff (nowhere near as good as most of this, early Sketcbook Pro attempts) that I want to post too but I can't figure out how to do so from my iPad. Anyone?

I'll post my WIP from ArtRage once I get home!!

Great thread by the way:D

----------

Here's my first drawing in SketchBook Mobile done on my iPhone, it's not finished yet and I made it for my girlfriend but I don't really like it. It hard to blend the colours properly on the iPhone because I had to zoom in so much to get the detail I wanted.

I love this thing, and the iFaraday styli.

your eyelashes look backward Fashiondgal.

Very interesting post. I was gifted a stylus for Christmas and downloaded Sketchbook Pro and decided to give it a whirl.
Still need to get the image off the iPad and post.

Mine feel very basic and I often sketch, dislike and wipe clean.

Tutorials?

Other than googling on youtube, where are some good tutorials on using digital media to draw, sketch, color, and render? I am old school drawing, but want to use my iMac and iPad. I am sure there are a lot of good tips and techniques for drawing and especially coloring.

Thanks

I drew this in Procreate, my favorite iPad drawing app, using the Wacom iPad stylus.

I used a drawing of him that I found online as a visual reference but did not trace it.

Here's one of Dori, again done in Procreate. This is my first attempt to utilize airbrushing techniques to create shading.
