I believe you'll lose the data unless your backup is encrypted.I was sceptical at first about the fitness tracking, but for now I don’t really know how accurate it is, at least its gave me a reminder of when I’m doing SFA.
I’m not getting any younger so the fact that it’s a reminder is great for me.
Does anyone know if changes or updating to a new iphone, will keep the Data ???
What's your 2 GOLD stars for??Got the watch on June 20th. Here's where I'm at so far!
What's your 2 GOLD stars for??
I got 1 for walking
Rowing Workout Record and Walking Workout Record. Description is the same except for the activity and result.
"You've earned this award for the most calories burned while rowing. 290 Calories burned on 2015-07-01".
Have you figured out how to get the 4th star yet? It took me a minute to figure it out then that joker was mine! Lol.It must really suck for people who got their watch May 2nd and didn't get credit for a perfect month, lol.
Anyway...

80 perfect days. Only day I missed was launch day. Didn't complete the rings because FedEx came at like 6PM lol
I know fitness trackers are nothing new, but since getting the Apple Watch I've lost 10 pounds. It really motivates me. That alone is worth $400 IMHO.
I had hit a good streak until I got a hip injury this week, but my activity program still gives the achievement awards irregularly. I can see weeks of meeting move goals every day, but I still don't have that award. Weird.
I did a backup and restore a month or so ago and that seemed to "break the chain" for several achievements including move streak and perfect weeks - was a good job I'd already ballsed up the month of May or I'd have been livid! So perhaps that's what happened here for sixxmum. Made sure not to do the same during June and got my achievementWhich award are you specifically talking about? Some of them are based on reaching the move goal daily in a calendar month. I haven't found the achievements to be irregular ...

It would be nice if the watch and/or app did a bit of a "common sense" check every week or so to calculate what achievements you should have based on your total data history, at the moment it doesn't seem to be very smart about it - I haven't checked up on any of the OS2 beta testers (and can't imagine many of them care enough to check) so unsure if something like this will be coming in Sept.In about the fourth row, the middle award says "Perfect Week (Move)" - Earn this award when you reach your move goal every day of a single week, Monday through Sunday.
I have perfect move weeks, but that award is still greyed out.
At one point, I had to do a backup and restore on my phone because the activity app would give no achievement awards at all. I lost the awards I had at that point, but started over. It's been better, however, there are still a couple that aren't seeming to register. Not a big deal, but interesting.
That's not quite right, your body has a resting calorie burn rate as well as your "active" calorie burn - depending on your height, weight and gender this will be in the 2000/3000 region on average - you roughly need to eat this many calories to stay alive (although it isn't as simple as calories in minus calories burned, all kinds of factors (e.g. hormonal) affect it, Google it if you wish), active calories are simply bonus burn on top of your resting calories. Eating 200 calories a day is very very bad for you, and I know you were using it as a statement of ridicule but your underlying premise was slightly off, it should be more along the lines of:unless you're eating 200 cals a day burning 300 as a goal means nothing.
