I find listening to music on my Apple Watch very useful as I often don't take my phone with me when I go out.

I wouldn't have chosen this particular nylon band, but it was the only one available for the AW2 42mm in the store where I bought it.

I just got my Space Black SS yesterday for Christmas & I think it is very elegant also. I had the regular SS since they first came out & wanted a change. I'm female & 61 yr old & LOVE it!!!View attachment 680897
You are 61? You are the person in the picture? Holy crap, you look good. The vast majority of the people I see wearing an Apple Watch (probably seen 100 or more) are almost all fit and want to keep it that way.

Love the space black SS look! I had the original SS 42mm and loved it... debated between the series 2 SS Space Black and Hermes... decided on Hermes 42mm out of spite for apple not adding a watch face store. :) Love the leather and extra watch faces, but if I didn't get the Hermes, I would have got the Space Black.

Now I have a 42mm SS series 0 that is gathering dust because I got a series 2 for my son for xmas.

Thank you! Yup...that's me!! I workout a lot with heavy weights & have been doing it for 35 years! It definitely helps keep me in shape. :)
I really wanted the Hermes...but they are always out of stock. I wanted the double wrap...so decided on the SB SS.

I wonder, do people use screen protector with the aw?

I do not...

I don't. I got the sapphire first-gen, figuring its crystal would be as durable as the sapphire on my other watches. It hasn't disappointed.
I will get the nike watch afaik the screen is not good as SS one,on the other hand screen protector on aw looks awful decisions decisions...:(

I think I was most impressed that your skin didn't show any signs of your age. Must be someone living in an area like the Midwest or Northeast. lol Lifting is the key to longevity more so than cardio as most/majority of people who live to run or cycle look like they haven't eaten in a month or two. Lifting keeps you skin tight and filled out :) I plan to lift until I cannot possibly do it anymore though it gets harder and harder in my 50's. :)

Best of luck to you... you look great!

I run and cycle and weight train, and i definitely don't look like i haven't eaten for month or two. 210lbs with 8 % body fat. Also you need cardio to strengthen your heart muscles and the only way to that is to get those heart rate up and down, cardio and weight training complements each other. there is a lot of people who weight train but have no endurance, and to have strength and endurance is the best of both worlds.

:) I was actually referring to someone else about their picture. But good job as well. You nailed it for healthy living. Definitely need cardio to round it all out. I probably haven't hit less than 10% bf since I was 18. Lol

I know you referring to someone else, but reading what you say about people who cycle and run was not all entirely accurate so i had to chime in lol. Anyway have a happy healthy and prosperous 2017.

I have an original 42mm silver aluminum, but last Tuesday I ordered a 42mm Series 2 Stainless Steel! Seeing all of these awesome pictures, along with the status of the order changing to "Preparing for Shipment" today, has got me totally stoked for it! :D

Do any of you have a silver aluminum watch with a saddle brown leather band? If so, I'd love to see pictures! (I tried searching but didn't see the silver aluminum/saddle brown combination.)

Unfortunately, I don't I only have a couple 3rd party tan ones that aren't my favorite, but may turn out to be nice with the Stainless Steel!

Thanks anyway! When you say they aren't your favourite, do you mean the colour combination (silver aluminum + tan)? Or those particular bands?

Those particular bands, quality on a couple were A LOT worse than other 3rd party bands I have ordered :/ But also, I get OCD really quick with certain things, and so when I see a band with stainless steel ends on the aluminum, it just looks really tacky to me! But now that won't be an issue with the new SS Series 2 I ordered!

Here's my new Series 2 I found today at Target. I sold my Series 0 SB SS a few months ago and wanted another Apple Watch but couldn't find them in stock. I found this one by accident today, but I'm so hesitant to open it. It's just not SS lol.

Thanks! And congrats on your new SS Series 2! I'm going back and forth on a bunch of things here:

-aluminum vs SS (I was wrong btw, I did manage to find a silver aluminum + saddle brown band on this thread; I've looked at so many posts I'm probably getting all confused, haha). I initially thought I'd be going for the aluminum but I really like the look of the SS. I just have to see if how long I can expect it to last and run well will justify the extra cost for me.
-black vs saddle brown leather strap! I don't anticipate buying both. Any thoughts? (Female, if it makes any difference. Black matches clothing more easily, but the cognac is pretty neutral too. I also have a Swiss watch that the AW won't be replacing so I could always wear that if I felt it matched better.)
