False. has not been my experience at all.. If you know who to buy it from you can't even tell the difference.

I’ve had quite a few fake ones and won’t buy them again - way worse quality and it can be felt and seen.

Rather have a couple of colours less and only quality ones

I used to buy sport loops from the Urvoi store on Aliexpress, and prior to Covid I thought the quality was good for the price. The colors and the nylon loopy fabric were pretty similar to the real thing. After Covid, the fake makers switched from colored plastic lugs to painted plastic or painted metal lugs, and the paint would scrape off every time they were inserted. And the Fall 2022 colors of the fakes were off. I only stick to OEM bands now.

Never had a fake band that I ultimately would not be disappointed in.
I have bought several third party silver links and all have torn my wrist up. Finally got an oem and it’s not a problem.

Many years since I bought the fake ones and they have all scraped off paint like your orange one - Don't think the quality has changed much
