From that photo it looks more grayish than blue to me? I could be wrong…
It’s not gray at all; it’s a very pleasant, very light blue. Pictures don’t do it justice:

I’ll have to see it in person, I like the contrasty look with the black Ultra, just not sure with the natural Ti.
And since I’m hoping that next years U3 will be offered in black, I’d want this band as they’ll likely discontinue this one

After 10 years trying different apple watch bands and after trying all ultra specific bands, there is no other (for me) like Nike Sport band for everyday use without any worries about sweat, smell, water, wine, oil, etc. it’s as comfortable as possible and you can clean it easily to maintain it like first day. Here Black AW2 + Blue/Obsidian Nike sport band combo, an stellar one. What a shame that the watch is too bulky for me…in some positions of my hand when I move the wrist I can feel the crown and its metal surroundings stuck in the skin, being a painful experience. I hope black S10 will be the perfect one.
Looks great! May I ask what’s your cleaning method? I have one such band and it’s not that difficult, but it does take some time and effort with a tiny bottlebrush in each hole. Would like to find an easier way.

Is it just the colour you think is nicer than the first Ultra Alpines? I have the first green one and like it but these new colours are deep and rich and LOVE them

The 1st gen Alpine Green strap was lovely but it felt very stiff to me; this one is a great colour, but comfier with it also

🔥 do they discount you if you happen to buy an Apple Watch band that just got discontinued and grab the remaining stock? Just curious 🧐 how you got it.
They don’t (discount) I’m afraid, you still pay the full price for it. I got it by visiting a few local Apple Stores in my area asking the specialist if they still had “this Sunshine band from last season” and they’d check on their devices.

Last time lucky, they said “yep we still have it it’s sitting out the back let me have someone bring it to us”

Any band not on display y’all back from the S9 days, indeed they can still look up the stock on their iPads and the iPhones they use there.

These things are totally subjective, of course, but to my eye: the Ice Blue Ocean Band is a very cool color either way, but even better with black hardware… Definitely check it out for yourself; YMMV.

Does anyone know if the new sport bands are the same size as the older ones given the new 46mm size? I put an old sport band on my S10 and the normal hole is too big yet the one smaller is too small so it seems I am now between sizes. Did they keep the same hole spacing on the new ones? Thanks

I also noticed that on the S/M band I am now oddly between the 3rd and 4th hole vs I was comfortable at the 3rd before.

Or I’m gaining weight 😆 🤷🏻‍♂️

?! I tried on the ‘new 42mm’ S10s and the modern buckle band fits the same! Sport bands are the same thing as well.

Y’all know what’s in store today? Deep navy. image.jpg

This tracks — Apple’s measurement of the case is the “lug to lug” distance on your wrist. The new 46mm watch case is anywhere from 1 to 4mm larger than what you would have had previously.

I don’t know if this is still the case, but sport bands used to ship with one long and one short “bottom” strap, and the holes for each version were offset from one another. In other words, if you found yourself between holes on the short strap, you could switch to the long strap for a better fit, and vice versa.
