Bought a series 10 black and hate the Milanese Loop I bought. I am really looking for a great replacement band, apple or 3rd party. I did try the black ocean band from the ultra and it‘s awesome. i am thinking i can get a 3rd party one a lot cheaper on Amazon but i am going to check. Anyone have absolutely amazing new band to go with their black series 10? Thanks! View attachment 2427275

Thanks. Ill try to find one black one as i would not use any of those colors.
Where are you located?

I got scammed a few months back on what I thought was an authentic apple watch and black ocean band. Turned out to be a very convincing fake. The fake watch has been destroyed but I'm pretty sure i still have the strap laying around somewhere. Its a fake but if you want it I can mail it your way. I can look tonight if you want. Its a black ocean band.

i have since purchased a brand new apple watch ultra 2 on amazon prime day and it too came with an ocean band which i hate so i have that band listed for sale but its orange and the real deal.

I love Phoenix. Used to spend my summers there as a kid... yep we were that one crazy family that came to Arizona during the hottest part of the year.

Obviously I wouldn't pay to express post it but i don't mind throwing a few stamps on it and chucking it in the snail mail if you want. I just have to double check its still there when I get home. If you want it just shoot me a DM. Its no problem.

Yes please let me know if you do find it. I’ll send you a PM if you have it. Thanks mate.

watchOS 10 and 11 are similar to what they are like. The newer update besides the new faces from the S10, only has additional health features like Vitals and Training Load, yet the iPhone that is paired with both of your Apple Watch Series 5 and the S10 can still give out vitals data from both of them. Why not use your Apple Watch Series 5 to sleep track, and then switch to the new one for the day?

Your Apple Watch Series 5 still seems flawless. You can put it in Tinypod or rig it up in a power bank case like @erihp did with his Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) if you still believe that the battery life is good.
So far, battery life on my S10 has been pretty good for me (consuming around 40% after a full day of work). Previously, my S5 would end the day at around 20+%, so between a fresh battery and the better processor, I am looking at twice the power efficiency despite the screen being slightly larger and the case a little thinner.

As such, I have started wearing my S10 to sleep, and so far, it's been okay. Like my watch was still at 60% yesterday and I felt like it could go another day, but I decided to just charge it back to full in the evening while I did my other stuff. It's also a good alternative to leaving it on the charger all night (does that really harm battery health?)

I am not sure if I want to stick with the same Nike band for the entire day (it is comfy) or switch to another fabric band (like the sport loop) for when I am at home. I guess wearing a band the entire day may mean I need to wash it more often? But switching bands every day can be pretty troublesome as well.

So far so good, but I am also aware all this is thanks to a brand new battery and an OS optimised for said processor. :)

Dude there is a black ocean band in a few varieties of the 6 pack. You can get other colors for less money than $600 at Apple for all of them.
That Alpine loop looks so much better in pictures than on the website. It’s
Of course it is. I like the green one.

Regularly i wipe down and clean my Apple Watch and bands daily, typically after each workout 🏋️. I have two boxes filled with 40mm/41mm bands and I use a different one based on the outfit or activity of the day. As a rule of thumb if you are doing lots of water activities like swimming, water park or yard work use a solo loop or silicone bands. Sport loops are OK for water but not for too long as they take longer to dry out. Use a clean, large glasses cloth to lay down your Apple Watch to change bands or like in the Apple Store’s Apple Watch tables, get a leather padded mousepad or mat to use to change bands. Some leather mats even have a wireless charging coil in it to allow you to rest your iPhone on it while you clean and swap out the bands for your Apple Watch.

Or if changing daily is your concern, do it depending on occasion or weekly. At the beginning when I only had three to four bands with my Apple Watch Series 1 i swapped out every other week or month. As my band collection grew over the past few years I did it daily.

I do wear my Apple Watch and maximize its battery life and charge it when it hits its 40% range or under when I get home, or after working out. I do not wear my watch in the shower but I do wear it in pool parties (with a sport band, of course).

I agree. The pictures on the website do not represent how good it actually looks. My only concern is being a lighter color that it’ll show dirt more.

If you throw in a pocket of pants or shorts and put it in the wash every once in awhile you can keep it clean. I have the orange one from the original Ultra that still looks good.

I don’t want to buy a 6 pack and throw 5 away. I’ll buy one separately is my point.

Ultra 2 arrived today. It’s pretty big on me, but I don’t care. Upgraded from a 45mm S7 Midnight aluminum. Looks great with my brushed black stainless Juuk Velo.
