My wife suggested I combine half a white and half black sport band with my SGS and I have to say I like it better than just white or just black. You could say I see the world in Black, white, and space grey.

I'm particularly a fan of the black pin through the white band, as opposed to the SS pin I would have had if I had used the revers black/white halves.

There are many vendors selling the lugs, and also different colors, but i purchased from 2 different places and both times received Yesoo branded lugs. So i can only vouch for Yesoo, they are on amazon and ebay.

Worth noting, the first set of adapters i got was with regular springbars. If you zoom into my picture you can tell the orange band is on the springbars version, the profile is slimmer than the regular apple style and the other 2 i have on the blue and red. I'm waiting for more regular ones to arrive so i can put the orange and white onto the regular looking screw type adapters. I don't care much for the springbars, as they may pop out if pulled very hard i think. Screws are safer.

Edit: Found it.

I don't see the post where you show where you got the band and adapter.

That comment was me telling the person who asked about the silver sport watch paired with the silver link bracelet, that a picture of that can be found in the thread I mentioned (link at bottom of my post with the pictures in this thread).

The band in my pictures is an Apple Space Black link bracelet... It comes with the Space Black stainless steel watch. There isn't any adapter, it's just the band fitting into the watch.

It's a shame they're another vendor recycling the same adapters.

I really hope we see more bands paired with the space grey or black adapters

I agree. I don't like the idea of SS adapters with my silver Sport case. Or, in other words, I haven't gotten used to looking at both materials side-by-side and being ok with it. Holding off for the perfect match.

Anyone else do this? I took of my green band you see to put black back on (green is going back because of a nick in it that I can't get over. I'll just get them to swap it. It wouldn't annoy me but it's right next to watch face and so shows up) and though I'd charge it like that. One thing, it spins like mad if you touch it but hopefully that won't damage it! Think it looks pretty cool...

Did someone say orange? :p

The orange really turns heads, i was in the Apple store today to look for a leather loop and all the geniuses crowded round, all gasping at my unusual color i had. None of them had any idea about getting adapters. Felt very awkward as i hat being center of attention. Maybe orange isn't a good idea. lol
Love your orange band
I posted these photos on the other thread, but here they are again! Just got my HOCO Brown Leather Band (used with a 38mm Aluminum Watch). Feels premium and I love the texture + silver/brown combination; very happy! :)

Looks really solid and good. Only wish he was selling silver aluminum lugs

You know the shiny black ones actually look fine on the sgs because they play off the color of the screen. So it looks as if it was intended.
