Hello guys, I'm now the proud owner of the spaceblack SS with black sportband and dark blue leatherloop!

You should really consider third party bands too! Some are really nice quality above your post. The sports band, leather loop, and milanese loop are from Apple, and congratulations! :)

I second this. You can build up quite a collection before you know it just perusing amazon and picking up 3rd party bands. the prices are really good and so far I've gotten lucky on quality with everything I've ordered.

Purchased the Woven Nyon last Friday and I love it. Haven't put my Milanese Loop back on yet.

Love it! This makes me want to purchase one today. I'm trying to hold out until the second generation.
Probably nothing you've not heard before, but I'd heartily recommend it. I only realised how much I've come to rely on it when I didn't wear it for a few days.

It's definitely not as essential as a smartphone, but it just makes everything so much easier. Without it on, I'd check my phone every time it buzzed. Possibly a bad habit, but the little paranoid voice in the back of my head tells me to check it in case it's an important message from family, friends, colleagues etc. 90% of the time it's spam or some irrelevant Facebook chat going off.

Now, a quick glance at the wrist is all it takes. Maybe two seconds at most to see if it's important or can be ignored. It really does end up saving you lots and lots of time.

Not to mention things like hands-free Siri when cooking, tracking fitness, controlling my Sonos speakers, checking the local bus timetable, and having sports scores pushed to my wrist.

If you can pick one up second-hand, you probably won't lose a great deal if you sell it when the second gen comes out, and they can be had fairly cheaply. I'd also recommend the nylon band (if you get one which locks in properly...), as it's super comfy and lightweight. And it looks great.

Took another picture to show the similar look. I couldn't get the numbers (0-60) to show up without the 12-hour callouts (I don't know their technical term) coming up also, and I prefer not to have them.

Carrot doesn't seem to have a snarky comment this morning, though I've seen "Wow clouds!" come up on days like today in the past.
is that a genuine black leather loop? Looks awesome

Ohhh whats the name of this band? The leather looks great.

Thanks.

It's a Delaurian Strap. I've had this strap for a long time and was used on a panerai watch that I no longer have. Thought I'd try it on AW and it fits :)

Does anyone have pics of the gold sport with other sport bands? Like black, Red, brown? Does brown look good?

I got the orange sport band over the weekend. I've been eyeing it for awhile, and I got the sense that it might go away soon. It's a fun color to add to my black sport and leather loop bands, and it lets me fly the flag as a Broncos fan. I wanted to buy it in the lead up to the Super Bowl, but I got paranoid and was afraid I would jinx it. Not logical, I know, but since when did logic play a roll in that sort of stuff? :)

I was also holding off because the pictures on Apple's site are not accurate for this bad at all. They make it look almost red. I needed to see it in person, which was difficult since they no longer have it in the display cases or out on the shelves. I had to ask someone to get one from the back. Luckily they still had an old display watch in the back with it as well so I could see it out of the box for myself. You can see why I think it's going away soon.

What weather complication is that?

Edit: Never mind. It's Carrot Weather.
