Just got my 42mm SS AW yesterday. It is used but comes with AC+ and already have some Cape Cod polishing cloths on order to get it cleaned up nicely. the band is a 3rd party band from amazon and i believe it's the old HOCO band which is now called Oittm which is etched on the bottom. I also have an original black sports band but prefer this one for the office. it's very nice fitting and comfortable.

Thinking I might go for an aluminium series 2, rather than the SS. I have SS now, but since Brexit, the SS AppleWatch on a sports strap is £599 and on a leather loop etc is £699. The screen brightness is a big plus for me.

EXCITEMENT!!! Lined up this morning and got the last Series 2 42MM SS Black in store. just YOLO'd my luck and didn't pre order.

wow nice !
how is he? how the metrics for the swim ? accurate ?
does it splash the water out when finishing the swim ?

It's pretty accurate +/- 10m for a 1km swim. There is no gushing of water out of the speaker, sorry haha. Still fun to use though.

My favourite is the ceramic one but I shouldn't spend that much money so I ended up ordering the silver stainless steel with the white sport band aka this one: http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-watch...reSelect=false&product=MNP42LL/A&step=detail#
However I'll be buying a black sport band for daily use which I prefer over the white one.

I think 42mm looks better on me because my hand is wider than my wrist. But as your hand is almost as thick as your wrist the 38mm seem to look fine on you. Anyway both models are compatible with 16mm wrists according to Apple:

Good choice! I think the ss Apple Watch looks amazing with the white sport band. I like this combination a lot!

Picked it up yesterday... had it for a day and a half and still love it!

Strange how different the size looks (to me) with different bands...

Classic Leather Buckle (for sale/trade) looks huge, I guess because of the extra lugs?

Sport Band looks and feels much better to me!

Edit: Any recommendations for lower profile (even 1st party) bands? How does the milanese fit, relative to the classic buckle?

Loving my 42mm Series 2!

I discovered my wrists are too small for the band size though, so I have to sort of tuck in back underneath which looks a little weird but it works!

I was considering cutting the band shorter but I don't want to mess up and regret it!

I have the original Apple SS Milanese and one from Amazon for a 10th of the price and they are almost of equal standard, my only real observation is that the magnet clasp of original is slightly stronger.

Here is the link to the amazon store where I got mine, I can certainly vouch for them.

Is that the 42? It looks too big for your wrist in your pic.

Rolex sells four or five sizes of some of their models so people can choose the best fit (as a non-Apple example).
