Does the loop move round the band so you don't need to tuck it underneath?

Yes it does, but it goes so far that it almost reaches the front of the screen and I don't like seeing the big hump on the top from the end of the band. But, I guess I'll just get use to it? :p I just wish it looked flush on the top and bottom.

Is that the 42? It looks too big for your wrist in your pic.

Rolex sells four or five sizes of some of their models so people can choose the best fit (as a non-Apple example).

42 indeed. And you're right, or at least - it's certainly not too small! I'm actively trying to trade for a 38. My point was more... I don't dislike wearing the 42, I'd just like the 38 more! I'm used to wearing running / GPS watches, so I'm used to a little bulk.

To be honest, my Series 2 screen does not look any brighter. Does it only go to 1000 nits while it's out side in the sun due to an ambient light sensor or something?

Where can I buy fog? I can't find it in the Apple Store website.

Apple stopped selling it online. Maybe forever. They replace it with Concrete which is darker. You need to find stores that has it in stock. Some still has, some ran out.
You can't find many of these online now. (I think Walnut will look good on Ceramic too)

Exactly the same i spent £700 for a little speed bump the screen is identical to first gen watch i tested it with my girlfriends one and even in bright light it was the same, they claim double the brightness but its a lie i even checked the apple store ones and its all the same, if anything the first gen looked better colour

Thinking I might go for an aluminium series 2, rather than the SS. I have SS now, but since Brexit, the SS AppleWatch on a sports strap is £599 and on a leather loop etc is £699. The screen brightness is a big plus for me.
The brightness is identical to the first i tested it for hours
[doublepost=1474174021][/doublepost]Here it is proof that the apple watch series 2 is a lie and has the exact same brightness on first gen, on ful max brightness setting and using a huge bright light on both shows them the same, how is apple claim the watch is double the brightness i think i would notice that big of a jump, even outside they look the same

First swim with the AW2 SG.

Very nice.

The main reason I'm upgrading my aluminum sport to Series 2.

I'm dying to know how the swim activity app works. Does it display the different stroke types?

Or simply whichever is the dominant one used during your swim? For example if you swam 75% freestyle and 25% breaststroke then will it say freestyle only, or will it display breaststroke as well?

Mine just says 'mixed'. I did about 75% freestyle, 25% butterfly.

Bingo.

Also, don't listen to that "brighter screen is a lie" dude. He even made a whole new thread about it and just doesn't understand that it's not a bug, it's a feature. The 1000 nits "torch mode" uses a lot of power and hence it's only activated (via ambient light sensor) when it's really needed, i.e. in bright sunshine.

Strange how different the size looks (to me) with different bands...

Classic Leather Buckle (for sale/trade) looks huge, I guess because of the extra lugs?

Sport Band looks and feels much better to me!

Edit: Any recommendations for lower profile (even 1st party) bands? How does the milanese fit, relative to the classic buckle?

Hi - new to forum! I held off on the first AW, wanting to see what they would come out with on the second release. Decided to get a Series 2, but left it too late to order through Apple, with a 3-5 week delivery date. So I was delighted to log into John Lewis website at just the right time on Thursday lunchtime - they had just three left for collection on Friday :)

So this is my 42mm rose gold Sport with the midnight blue sports strap. I have already ordered a couple of 3rd party straps to mix it up a bit - will post pics as they arrive :). Loving it so far!
