I honestly like the ceramic especially against your skin.
I have the ceramic, SS and nike silver.
The stainless is not as versatile in coordinating the bands.
The black SS is very sharp and looks good with a variety of sport and metal bands.

I will post some picts of the Ceramic with a couple of bands I have tried.

Yeah I ordered the silver SS series 2 42mm because of the amount of bands that are available for it. I feel it the opposite with the black SS not being more band availability for it without the silver clashing against the black casing, I got that feed back from most people as well even at the Apple Store. Unless I get the link bracelet which would be the band that I need to dress it up.

That looks really cool, nice pictures.

I personally prefer the dressier bands like stainless steel, link band and the leather bands. I rarely ever wear sport bands so I had to go with the silver SS watch. but the ceramic sure looks sweet.

I am hoping that fat bastard in the red outfit gets me what I asked for this year, black link band.
He was a little pissed last year. Look ya land on the solar panels and destroy them you can bet your butt "Lucille" will make and appearance.

42mm Aluminum with black nylon band and milanese loop (both replicas). I was debating for the longest time if I should get space grey, but it only goes well with black bands. Overall, I'm glad I went with silver. Eventually, I will get a brown or dark blue leather band.

That looks classy. I hope you don't mind that I "borrowed" that watch face for my new 42mm Space Gray Aluminum with black band.

By the way, I've had mine for less than 48 hours but I absolutely love it so far. It goes well with the iPhone 7+ I got in October and is far superior (as both a performance piece of tech and functional watch) to my FitBit.

☝️ Nice collection but why the need for so many Apple Watches?

I don't dress up often. I like my things in black. I'd wear more sport bands than anything.
How's the Nylon style bands for the folks that have them?

Just snagged a Series 0 AW SS... i am in love..
Heres a pic of it with the black classic buckle on the Apple Magnetic dock

So the black classic buckle is red in the back like it shows in this picture ? Loving that combo.

I was curious about getting myself an Apple Watch for my birthday coming up this week. After looking at your picture I was sold lol. I bought myself a present. Going to the Apple Store tomorrow to get the black classic buckle as well and a black sports band for my workouts.

Happy early birthday.

Those bands are pricey, no? I bet they are comfortable though...!

This is a combo I was considering ... and this picture does make me think it could indeed work very well :)

Can I ask what your wrist size is?

I have small wrists, 165mm. The only thing I don't like is the black lugs are too contrasty with the silver, but it doesn't bug me too much.

Cheers. I have a smaller wrist (155) and edging towards the same combo with the 38mm - I haven't had the chance to try it one with that band and it helps getting an idea of what it might look like.

The stainless is series 0.
After seeing the ceramic in the store I wanted it plus I feel it goes with more bands than the SS.
Sport bands look good, a number of red, blue and black leather bands look nice. The nike bands partner nicely.
Black, white and blue milanese bands look sharp. never did I expect to like the white watch so much.

To me the silver SS looks ehhh with most sport bands, just OK with loops, fine with milanese. Link bands (3rd party) look ok but the finishes between the bands and watch are different. I refuse to pay $500 for the apple band.
I was going to sell the SS but what am I going to get for it when you can buy a brand new one for as low as $299 with a warranty.

The nike is my I don't really care if it gets scratched or banged up watch.

Agree totally with the cooments above. Dodgeman taste is like my taste. I like black watch with sport band.

My new favourite combination has to be this:

42mm Ceramic with Flat Silver/White Nike Sport Band

(And not the cheapest combination, I must admit! :D)

The looks are sporty look, not luxury look as intended for ceramic watch wearer.

For me its the opposite, i Think the silver SS goes better with all the other bands compared to the other AW models, you can dress them up or make them look sporty all the AW models yes. But to me the regular SS looks better doing it compared to all the other models.

My Watch arrived yesterday. It's my first Apple Watch and I'm very impressed with it.

Going to pick up a couple of straps, most likely and 3rd party SS link for work, and a leather loop. :D

The white and SS pops.

Only way to roll.

My 42mm series 2 link bracelet came in today. I think the pouch to put the extra link after sizing was pretty cool along with the cleaning cloth. My first Gen in the photo with black sports band, going to take the band of it and use with my new watch and toss the watch in my drawer. Can't see the display anymore that's one of the reason for getting this series 2.
