Well I am about to snag a Series 4 44mm Space Grey aluminum at my local Apple store, I checked store stock and they have some available. I just have to wait an hour to pick it up.

Thanks for the watchface recommendations.

Which band is that? And, do you ever find your wrist hair gets caught in it?
That's the only reason I have not tried one of those bands...

PS: I am the number 1 gooner! ;)
I hope we beat Watford tomorrow...
It’s a genuine apple stainless steel link bracelet, there on the expensive side if bought new but can be got within the £100-£200 area refurbished from the right sellers, I’m not particularly a hairy person so never had issues with hair getting trapped.
PS Gooner for over 28 years now through and through, Nice to see another one on here! Watford will be tough tomorrow there a good side but hopefully get the three points!

Before the 4 I always went with Utility with no markings and no complications. So nothing but the three hands. But now I think the vapor faces are quite classy as well.

Tried the vapor, nothing by the three hands and the vapor changing. Me likes.

yeah they definitely look bigger in pictures than in person

I had a 38mm, now I have a 44mm. Not sure how I lasted so long without something bigger than 38mm. My wrist is small but the 44mm really doesn’t look huge on it.

OTOH I cannot wear a G Shock. Way too big most of them.

Upgraded both my phone (X to a XS Max)and my watch (1st Gen SS 38mm to a 4 SS 44mm) , but only keeping one. Definitely keeping the watch. Really digging this Stainless Steel 44mm. I have to get used to the size, but so far so good.

I was not going to upgrade my X to the XS Max or XS. I got the XS Max.

I was not going to upgrade my Series 3 watch to Series 4 but I did that one today and went from 38mm to 44mm.

Geez Louise.

Here are all my bands thus far and my SBSS Series 4.
1: Original black sport band
2: Orange sport band
3: Original black woven nylon
4: Black leather loop

Yeah, I need a few more color bands. I’m hoping the Apple store will let me exchange the sport band that came with the watch for a different color. If so I’ll go with either the blue horizon or the midnight blue.

I regret I didn’t get the leather loop when they sold the black ones

I kept my SS Link as well. And still one of my absolute favourites

Anyone switching from a 2015 SS SB to a S4 SS SB that can provide comparison pics? How does the S4 feel compared to the older model, is it aesthetically similar in what concerns color? Or does it vary like the Space Grey from Apple between different devices?

Asking this because where I live there are no SS models available (no carrier with eSIM support) and because after buying my 2015 Sport model I ended up trying a SS SB one and I was fascinated. I want to both upgrade my watch and my casing, and if I decide to do so, I'll basically do it blindly and wanted some guidance if possible.
