Here is mine, 40mm Gold SS with the Indigo Sports Loop

I've got 170mm wrists - still not sure if the 44mm would be a decent fit over the 40mm!

I worried about this having 170mm wrists, but I am sooo glad I went for the 44mm. I'm a great fan of smaller watches, but the 44mm looks really subtle, because of its rounded corners and because it sits closer to the wrist.

Don't judge it by looking at close-up photos. I would advice you to visit a store to try them out yourself. And when you take pictures: take some distance in order to capture a more realistic perspective.

It looks great FriendlyMackie. I have the same skin tone and I ordered the same model.
Thanks, pcall1128!

If you have green veins, gold will look best. If you have blue, choose silver. There is no right or wrong, we all switch our jewelry colors.
LOL — honestly, my veins are blue-green! I am somewhere in the middle between warm and cool.

That looks really nice!

Yes, I’ve only had it a few days but they’ve suddenly become unfashionable. ;)
Not at all! I'm just glad I held off on buying a 3—I was very close to doing so until I read (a few months ago) the rumors that a new watch was likely to be released in September!

And it’s getting even worse with my old favourite. What’s up with one curved as the only curved element on the screen :(
Yeah, that really does not look good (the top right complication)

My wrists are about 170mm - and I think the 44mm looks fine, and fits my wrist with some space to spare and top and bottom.

I totally agree with regard to large watches — I don't like them on myself. In traditional round watches I usually wear a 36mm-38mm face, I think that looks perfect with my 170mm wrists. But with the Apple Watch, due to the rectangular-rounded shape of the face, the 44mm looks good and doesn't look too large. I think that is in part due to the width of the watch face being only 38mm. So it does have the visual 'footprint' of a smaller watch. That is what I see as one of the major benefits of this shape (vs. circular).

All exactly the same surface finish.

Thanks, knowing if they're equal finishes is all I needed. Funny how they look different in pretty much all pics and sometimes different even between the same series. Must be the light...

I was fascinated by the SS SB back in 2016 after I tried it, will probably go for it now, will have to weigh in putting up with a year less of warranty and extra reshipping cost...

Indeed. There was a lot of angst before the Watch was available for purchase that it sometimes looked ‘gun metal’ in photos.

Here’s my 4 and 0 side by side...

Anyone have the Apple leather loop band? I got the Cape Cod blue one it’s very nice.. also the White Nike band and Cape Cod sport loop and Seashells sport loop. Last piece I’m hunting is a silver link band either saving up for apples dragon scales or going to get something that lasts longer then the army of Amazon 40 dollar bands I’ve bought over the series as I started on series 0. Anyone have or know of a really nice band similar to the Apple Link SS band you could recommend?

I went through a number of 3rd party link bands and needed to scrap them all in the end and go for the Apple one. Amazing quality and the design of the link removals etc. deserves a buy

I’m looking for a leather loop myself - the current blue might be worth a shot. Haven’t seen any live pictures of it though
