Agreed. Cheap watch + expensive shiny band = no good combo....looks terrible IMHO
Hi! Got my 44 SS today. Was really looking forward to it, but I’m a bit underwhelmed... Yeah, the watch is nice but the white band sucks.
I got this leather band from Meridio on sale. Looks nice but is rather stiff and uncomfortable, maybe it needs time to soften... Hmmm. I’ll try the watch for a few days and then see. I was so sure I wanted a SS watch... but it’s a bit heavy and I didn’t wear a watch for years.
Other options: SG alu or no watch at all....relax and be patient I guess ; )
Did anybody had problems adjusting too? Or did you all wear watches before?

Looks great! But I couldn’t manage to activate them under the “colour” watch faces. Is it 5.1 beta only?

I’m not on any beta, I’m on Watch OS 5.1 and iOS 12.1 - have you got both of those?
I saw that there are problems with Watch OS 5.1 and it was pulled, I was lucky enough to update ok, I’m sure it will be back up soon.

I have the same combo and I like the way it looks because it’s different and does look better in person.
I had bought this Milanese loop band when the Apple Watch first came out. I sold the original watch years ago but kept the band just in case. Finally jumped back on the watch bandwagon with the S4 and had been looking around the house for this for weeks. Finally found it!

I'm on the same boat as you, or I will be, once my Watch finally arrives. The SSSB is really scarce here in Mexico so I've been waiting for my order to ship and it should arrive this week.
I used to wear watches a lot in the past and they were all heavy. I tried the Aluminum in stores but it felt weird how light it was, more like a toy than a watch, so I'm not that concerned about its weight, I just hope I can get used to wearing a watch again.
