It depends on what you use it for and what you've come from (and gotten used too).
Both my wife and I both have the 44mm AW4 and we are used to using Garmin Fenix watches so the 44mm seems small in comparison and the 40 just tiny. Especially when reading the display when running around mountains when you can only take a quick look in order to focus on foot placement.
Then of course there's personal taste. What seems to big to you may not to others.
What do you think about a man wearing a S4 Gold aluminum with the original pink sand band?

I think the only people that would question it are the ones uncomfortable with their identity/sexuality. If you dig it who cares.

Have had the 40mm Gold Aluminum Series 4 since launch. Traded in my S3. Got the Pink Sand Sport band this time as already had the PS Sport Loop from the S3. Thinking about getting the SS this year but hard to get past the cost vs trade-in value.

How does the adapters fit? Does it seem to be an okay soft quality? Love the cheap fake ones for workouts

One of the lugs was a little tight going in but otherwise good fit. The band is soft and doesn’t irritate my arm at all. It was actually only $4
That looks like an indigo fake - not a hyper grape.. Hyper Grape is completely different.
I have several bands not all pictured. Missing to photo a Blue Belkin and a Milanese in Black.

3rd Pic a Milanese Blue that I found on Amazon. All very high quality. Both my Black Milanese and the Blue/Iridescent one.
My preferred type of band is Sport Loop out of these, I'm really looking forward HyperGrape Sport loop because it would look so nice with the Black S3 I have and because its a little bit more colorful than the subtend Midnight Fog. Still.... I think maybe it's not worth it to pay $50 for the band. For me the watch is a toy, I might get bored out of it soon, change to Samsung or want the next big thing when it comes so I have kept everything $250ish in watch and band.
Which one do you guys like the best?????

Midnight Fog is my favorite for sure. I’m wearing the Hyper Grape sports loop right now, and it’s fantastic. Of all my bands, Midnight Fog and Hyper Grape are both in my top 5 favorites.I have several bands not all pictured. Missing to photo a Blue Belkin and a Milanese in Black.

A lifetime Nike runner and would love them as well. My watch is steep because of the material and sapphire though so guess tough luck
