Yes it’s original. From eBay, these Apple Woven Nylon Bands are being sold for a steal now that they’re long discontinued. I got it for $14.95 and it’s new with the original open box. Here’s a link to it. I just ordered the black one too. https://www.ebay.com/itm/264660618834

Thank you very much. It seems very fancy I guess due to stainless steel finishing. I just bought 2 for me.

I really like the black one on my SS. Oddly I don’t like it on my SBSS.

Oh nice! I’m definitely looking forward to getting the black one. Wonder why you don’t like it with the SBSS maybe lack of contrast? My OCD had me thinking the black buckle not matching the SS would bother me but I like the band so much and want it in that black tone so went ahead and ordered it.

Hey thanks for the link, picked up the Tahoe blue myself. Most people are stingy when they find a good eBay source(I know I am haha)so I appreciate it.

I really like the woven nylon design, this will be my 6th.

Nice! Sharing is caring! Which ones do you currently have?

What has you not buying them?

Don’t get me wrong I am not a hater of the sport bands lol they have a lot going for them. I love all the color varieties, the texture is very nice and I always appreciate seeing them on other people’s wrist just not mine. I’ve just never cared for them for myself. I also am not too much of a fan of the super casual silicone band look. My casual preference is the sport loop any day. Side note my first Apple Watch series 0 came with the black sport band and I didn’t like the sheen that it built up from not even regular use because I immediately bought the black leather loop at the time which in my opinion made the watch look so much better. Just not my preference that’s all. Please no one be mad at me for what was just said! Lol

To each their own, for sure!

For me, in addition to the obvious workout arguments, there are far too many activities that call for a sport band (or at least a quick change into one from whatever other band type I’m wearing): yard work, swimming + pool maintenance, painting, home repairs, washing cars, etc. They also make for easier (and more technically better) sanitizing during this pandemic!

With that being said, do you find yourself needing to remove your watch a lot, in order to avoid damaging the fabric/leather/metal bands?

I totally agree with everything you’ve said. Definitely is just a preference thing really. Yes I remove my watch for sure to avoid damaging it if I’m about to do some kind of heavy duty work. I don’t mind taking a break from having the watch on my wrist. I’m not the type that needs to have it on all throughout the hours of my day. I know some people keep it on all the time for tracking purposes but I’m ok with losing some steps or calories burned from the activity rings lol especially if I’m home and have my phone easily at reach. The time I benefit from the watch the most is while I’m at work when away from my phone which is left in another room in my facility because I receive a lot of email notifications for appointments with my clients and if someone messages me while staying away from my phone. I think to each their own for sure. The Apple Watch is awesome and all of the different bands options are awesome and how you decide to use it or wear it is your own preference as well.
