Hi guys !

I need your opinion: 38 or 42? Can't make up my mind !

Thanks!

Since it looks like it could go either way (based on these photos at least) you should probably go by whether you appreciate the extra screen size -- larger text, buttons, etc.

Forgot to post mine last week so.....here it is :D

Thank you all for your advice!

I have to say that I found the 38 to be a bit small in the store but I'm more looking for a discreet non-nerdy look, hence my hesitation...

I think what's happening is a lot of people try on both sizes and yes, of course the 38mm is much smaller when compared to the 42mm and its human nature to want the biggest and best. But when compared to conventional watches, the 38mm is a much more common size for a mans watch.

Basically if you care about specs, get the 42mm, if you care about fashion, and your wrist is under 200mm, get the 38mm.

I received my 38mm SS/Classic Buckle this past week, and wanted a watch that was more discrete and did not shout "smartwatch", but did not look too feminine. But I am unsure if I should have gone larger. What do you guys think?

Looks fine to me. Seems like you have slender wrist. I say stay at 38.

I think it looks fine! I ordered the same model for the same reason. I'm not very tall, and I have "average" sized wrists. Both the 42mm and the 38mm looked fine on me, but I want a more discrete appearance, so I went with the 38mm.

This is perfect for you. It looks like you are slim and have slender arms .. Stick with the 38 ... looks really great!

What is your wrist size?

Looking at some of the images I really recognize how tiny my wrists are.
There are a lot of pictures showing the 42mm on their wrists looking like it was a 38mm on my wrist :D

38mm classic buckle. I ordered it this Wednesday and it got here Friday. I *think* the size is okay for me, didn't want an in-your-face huge watch. Any thoughts?

That looks really sharp. I am actually going back to try them on again to see if the 38 might be the better option...so indecisive.

When did you order/when did it come?

Speaking of showing off the Apple Watch, anyone else changing their faces constantly (like you've taken maximum strength crazy pills)? Anyone settled on a definitive face? I'm kinda between Simple and Color yet keep wanting to flirt with Solar. But, I don't have a "go to" face yet.

Mhhh as photos show the watch much bigger than in real I think the 42mm would work perfect too.

I agree. I have tiny wrists, use the S/M sport band with the middle pin used and think the 42mm size is perfect. 38mm seemed too small for a smartwatch, but maybe not a traditional watch. Keep in mind this is a mini computer that you'll be interacting with. Screen real estate is precious. I was surprised when I saw them in person.

I disagree. I think 38mm is perfect for tiny wrists. 42mm looks like a toy watch on a small wrist.

I think I could have gone either way, my wrist width is about the size of a credit card. The buckle does up comfortably to pretty much the central pin, so I guess that makes my wrist circumference about 180mm (couldn't find a tape) based on the size range the classic buckle fits. The weight is nice too, I think the 42 might have been too heavy. I'd probably go for a sport if it was a 42.

I've had it on for a few days now and I'm okay with the screen size. I don't really see me using it for much more than a nice watch, and letting me know why my phone buzzed without having to get it out. I certainly can't imagine myself talking to Siri to dictate a text or sending one of those new emoji things. Jeez, I sound like an old man.
