So I really like my SS model (S5) but I want to upgrade, I usually do every year.
The titanium looks nice but I sort of just want to get another 44 SS. Does anyone feel bad “not changing it up” and going with a different color?

I have an SS S5 and later I also bought an SBSS S5 - my plan was to help decide which case Hermes S6 I would buy, but that isn't relevant.

I realise SBSS isn't an option (unless you go Hermes), but when I got my SBSS I thought it was great; it made my bands look different and I loved the way the black glass blends into the black case.

After the novelty wore off and I wore my SS again it was like a new Watch. "Wow that silver rim makes it look bigger, and more like a regular watch" etc.

Several months in basically I wear SBSS at weekends or work from home days, and when I go to the office or want to look smarter than a T-shirt and jeans I wear the SS. It's 100% clear to me that an S6 Hermes would have to be SS.

Of course Ti isn't like SBSS and the difference is going to be less obvious (unless you go SBTi), and it's true to say that living in a country where we don't get Edition Watches (since the S3 with it's then unsupported LTE) I haven't seen a Ti Watch. I am however familiar with Titanium - it's what my wedding ring is made of among other things. The slightly hint of gold and brushed finish will look different with your bands, but probably close enough even leathers with silver lugs will look OK.

My advice would still be that SS is the one Watch to have, but it is fun to experiment with something different, so why not try Ti for the S6? You might love it and stick with it, or you might be 100% certain when the S7 comes out that SS is right for you.

I feel the same, I love to change things up but my gold SS has practically been impervious to damage, and I have heard multiple people say just their shirt sleeve rubbing on the silver titanium watch causes wear sooooo maybe I’ll just stick with what I know? I’d hate to upgrade and scratch it all up easily. After trying the titanium watch on I was hooked, surprisingly. I thought it always looked to similar to aluminum, but that’s not the case.

This was the reason I didn’t go for Titanium last year due to a few reports of scratching but then I saw a video on how easy it is to remove them and that it is just the surface coating that has marked rather than actual scratches, that I decided to take a chance this time around and so far so good. I must admit I’ve probably seen more reports of people saying how well their Titanium Series 5 has held up so much so they went for it again with S6 compared to reports of scratching/marking but I totally get the fear and hesitation.

I think he got it pre owned for a pretty good deal not sure from where but Amazon still has them in stock brand new.

I would jump on full retail for this band for sure. It’s one of those “damn I should of gotten that band when out” bands haha

Where did you get this band?

Got mine on Poshmark brand new, open box for half off. Check out Poshmark for a nice selection of quality!

Thanks for this rec. I just found what appears to be an authentic link bracelet that I got for $33 after shipping. Even if it's not, it looks exactly like Apple's so I'll be happy either way.

Is it normal to have a gap there? It’s too small but definitely a 44 mm size
Sadly, yes. That's the reason I returned my braided loop. Some people don't mind it. I did. I think this is poor design and there should be a smooth transition between the lug and the Watch.

damn idk what to do. It looks (except the gap) so nice and it’s so comfortable.
