In your mind you were joking. For those of use who don’t know you, there is no discernible way to know by the post you made.

I wear it at work so it doesn’t get damaged. I don’t use use it while at home and out and about. I put it on to take pictures for the poster I replied to. The watch cost me $900 dollars.
if your going to spend 900 dollars on a watch and hide it what's the point. just enjoy it. I've had my stainless steel series for 2 and a half years now it's got scratches on the casing but screen is scratch free its a part of life that a product will get scratches.

You can get them way cheaper on AliExpress.

It was $9.69 with free Prime shipping on Amazon. Worth the few extra dollars for me to not have to wait a month to get it. I have ordered third party braided loops from AliExpress - waiting for them to arrive, as the first ones I ordered were way too big.

🐅Equateur Tatouage - a case where I’m more than happy to live with the silver lugs because I don’t even like how this (or any of my more colorful 3840mm Hermes) look on Silver Stainless Steel

That really is a fantastic band for ceramic. Shame they don't do white ceramic lugs to make it perfect.
I thought the s1 rose gold was more pink, and the next gen was more gold.
Remember the S1 came out at the same time as the S2. Are you thinking of what became known as the S0?

Absolutely possible...I get confused between those first few series. Remind me of what the deal was with the s1 and s2 and how it differed from the s0? I know I had the very first version of the watch when it was initially released (s0), and I also had the s3, and one in between those two, but I can't remember which. One of those was rose gold. LOL I'm a mess!

I can't speak for the Rose Gold, but the S0 launched in May '15. In September '16 the big news was S2 with GPS and water resist (I think).

Less well publicised was that the original was quietly replaced by a new model that was logically the S1, with basically the same specs but faster. That became known as the S1 (I don't recall if that was an official Apple naming, but I think it was) and the pre- Sep '16 models the S0.

S1 also didn’t get the new brighter screen.

No the Watch that came out along side the Series 2 in Sep 2016 was officially the 'Series 1'. It was labeled and marketed as such. It was basically just the original Series 0 Sport with the S1P SOC. That was basically the S1 SOC with dual cores like the Series 2.

The S1 and S1P SOCs are built on the same 28nm process clocked at 520MHz. The S2 was 16nm at 780MHz. The S1P did have the GPU of the S2. A lot of people at the time assumed the S1P and S2 SOCs were identical but that was not the case. It was a weeeeird little chip.
