Yes, indeed. It‘s not easy to make the dark Watches look „fun“, but Violet/Plum does the trick.

I‘m not very fond of the Nike bands in general but this is one of the few I have because the colour (combination) is so unique and pretty. The “new Nike“ would probably just make the holes black and call it a day.

might the hardware version of the watch be relevant?

Ay, there's the rub! My watch auto-updated the other night, but I hadn't updated my iPhone. 🤨 Doing that now & will see if the Unity face appears. Thanks for the idea, I'm betting that's it.

When I first updated the Watch to 7.3, the Unity face only appeared when I went to add a watch face from the watch itself. It didn’t appear in the watch app on the phone until I also updated the phone to 14.4.
