🤦♀️ Lol I totally knew that and yet wrote the wrong one. Yup, GMT face.
While waiting for a hypothetical Inverness braided loop, I trat my green addiction accordingly.
Getting to be a bit of a broken record lately with the SBTi and SBLB combo. But it’s just so good looking! I love the way the watch catches the light when peeking out from under my shirt cuff.

Took me way too long to figure out that the whole look and mainly the feel of the SS models is a different ballpark. Finally my inner watch enthusiast is as happy as the tech geek. Hard to describe really….

Here in Germany many sizes are already completely sold out. When they're gone they're gone. :-( If I were you I would go ahead and get it. You can still send it back if you don't end up liking it.

There's absolutely no problem enjoying your purchase.
I just wonder if there's almost two different types of AW owners...one who treats it more as fashion, and a group that focuses on function.
Not saying either is wrong or you can't use an AW for both. It's all good.
That most definitely is the case. I know a lot of people who just want a way to decline calls without having to take out the phone - and some of them don‘t necessarily buy an Apple Watch to do that ;-)
For me, watches were always fashion and engineering combined… and also the only „jewelry“ I wear.
The Aluminum watch somehow didn’t tick the fashion box as much as the SSG does now, so the function part (which got me hooked initially) is still there but now the fashion factor is back. I always enjoyed sharing pics of my watches with other enthusiasts (on other forums) and now that „urge“ has returned ^^
My wife and I are dues-paying members to each of those two clubs.
My wife has zero interest in a stainless steel/titanium/ceramic model. She sees and uses her WATCH SE as an iPhone accessory and nothing more. She’ll wear one band for weeks (usually a sport loop) before changing it up.
On the other hand, I love my SS S5 with the sapphire crystal, my link bracelet and leather bands, and everything else that goes along with it. I change bands daily to match whatever I’m wearing or just my mood.
She thinks I’m obsessed and I know she’s delusional; true love at its finest moments.
